Market Analysis

Here’s what to watch over this next week in terms of market moving events:

  • Israel / USA vs. Iran Conflict (Ongoing):  The big unknown. Escalation = risk-off (i.e. stocks & Bitcoin usually drop / oil & gold spike). De-escalation = risk-on (i.e. stocks & Bitcoin up / oil & gold drop). Right now, there appears to be a hint of optimism that a possible peace deal is coming, but no one knows.
  • President Trump’s Announcement Patterns (Ongoing):  The dude is working over-time to keep the markets as elevated as possible during the conflict. Be prepared for escalatory talk/action after the markets close on Fridays (i.e. Bitcoin drops), and conciliatory talk just before the markets open on Mondays (i.e. Bitcoin goes up). And his new deadline for the Iranians to make a deal presumably expires this Friday after the markets close. And that’s about the same time that a regiment of US Airborne troops will arrive in the region.

Starting with 11 Tradable TA Charts and Strategies for you across the indices, stock, and crypto markets today.

Let’s dive in.

S&P 500 (Stock Index)

This large rounding top pattern is probably the best TA reference for trading the S&P 500 right now. These are bearish reversal patterns, and the major trade on these is shorting confirmed closes below the neckline, which for the S&P here is 6,525. Ideally, you want to see increasing volumes on the break and a confirmation close below the neckline.

Premium Investor Report #516 - - 2026

Now interestingly, the price is just above the neckline but below the 200D EMA right now. So I suspect a larger move is coming soon either to upside or downside.

SIGNAL: (1) Short a breakdown and confirmed close below the neckline at 6,525, the higher the volumes, the better. Or (2) long a breakout above the 200D EMA at 6,595.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD, Stock)

Reiterating this setup for AMD, but changing from a short to a dynamic trade. We’ve got a double top, a neckline at $194, and the 200D EMA confluence with the neckline. But thus far, the price is holding above this neckline and EMA.

Premium Investor Report #516 - - 2026

SIGNAL: Be open to either shorts or longs. Go (1) short with a breakdown below the neckline at $194. Or (2) you can go long with support bounces off this neckline — the idea here is that this double top might turn into a sideways channel.

Alphabet (GOOG, Stock)

We’ve been watching the price press into this support line for Google for a while now, and we finally got our breakdown yesterday, on elevated volumes, with a confirmed daily close. Shorts are open now.

Premium Investor Report #516 - - 2026

SIGNAL: Shorts on GOOG are open now. The recommended stop loss is $301, and the recommended take profit is the 200D EMA at $271.
